Yes Roughtor is very special to me, something very magical about it, though i do feel that Cornish magic in many parts, particularly those moors.
Im not sure how i feel about these dramas used in schools. In some way it does bring the past to life, keeps the story and the characters alive in our memories, but at the same time may not more…

Thanks for such a detailed reply and you certainly had an incredible experience! I love Rough Tor very much, it is the site of so much antiquity, within a square mile you have a Bronze Age village, two stone circles, a medieval chapel and farm and a logan or rocking stone.
