Pro Its a book from my childhood, its by terry nation.
A girl looks through her fathers telescope and gets transported to a new world, where a man has chopped down all the trees to make a city of glass. In doing this the ghosts that were once kept away by the tree's, start to invade the whole world.
This leaves Rebecca and some new friends, one who has a bad foot and endless supplies of trousers on, a superhero who is a bit weedy...they encounter a tongue twister monster, and many other sci fi crazyiness
Its pretty wacky, but a classic, and a little adult in places.

Pro Because I have two poetry blogs - the 'serious'/quirky poems 
(Squonk) and the 'funny' poems (Cheshire Cat)
My Book - The Alternative Poetry Book - will carry funny/quirky poems on the odd pages and serious/quirky poems on the even pages. Hence alternating moods on alternative pages - so 'alternative' poetry and alternative arrangement of poetry. 
OK as always I forget to do my own answers, so here goes.

A very private woman with a very public life. An existence of internal contractions.
I hesitated between her and Greta Garbo. I think Garbo is more me as she also suffered from depression and was obsessively reclusive. Both foreigners. Of course, both gorgeous and I like gorgeous women (from the aesthetic perspective, mind you).
