Have just been given a flat bed scanner and I thought I would ty it out on some old pictures of me.

  Thanks for the compliment! I like that vulnerable look too perhaps it relates a bit to the posting on 'child- like or childish' Mind you i had every reason to appear vulnerable on that day as it was absolutely bloody freezing!

Nah sorta Housemartins-style, preppy twink in the earlier one. Young boy finding his way.

In the later one you look macho, secure, reminiscent of that rugby player that allegedly dated Princess Diana, what's his name again. Anyways.. I gotta say you sure know how to compose excellent pics. My pics look dorky. Yours are the real deal.

  Well Blighty, I think the rugby player you are referring too is Will Carling, known none too affectionately by the soubriquet 'Bum Chin'!
  
  As for macho and secure - who says the camera never lies?!
